ACS college of engineering  is one such established in the year 2009, ACS college is affiliated  to Vishvesvaraya technological university situated in Belagavi. The college has been accredited grade A  by National Accreditation and Assessment Council (NAAC)  and also approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) which makes the engineering courses here more authentic. The college has total 11 departments imparting undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering with the upgradation of its curriculum, the college has also initiated engineering programs in aeronautics and biomedical field. The college has recently established a science forum with the motto encouraging students to understand engineering importance and science has named the program as CORE which abbreviated it to  “Civil Organization for Revolutionary Engineers”. The forum encourages students for innovation and revolutionary interventional and advancement in science and technological fields. The culture of academic excellence is maintained through its teaching staff, which comprises a total of 115 professors and lectures, out of which 67 proudly flaunts the prefix “Dr” before their name implying their P.hd degree .
