About the college-

An academic medical centre and public university for medical research, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jodhpur is located in Jodhpur, India. It is a Nationally Important Institute. [4] It was founded in 2012 and, like the other five All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), runs independently under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The institute's mission is to provide models for accessible, high-quality healthcare through innovations while also fostering excellence in medical education, research, and patient care. The AIIMS Act, 1956 also governs AIIMS Jodhpur.

AIIMS Admission 2024

On the basis of entrance exams, AIIMS Jodhpur offered admission to B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing, MBBS, MD, MDS, MS, M.Sc, M.Ch, DM, and Ph.D. programmes. The institute accepts NEET UG scores for the MBBS programme, whereas INI CET scores are used for admission to the MDS, MS, M.Sc., and MD programmes. Candidates must take the entrance exam offered by AIIMS Jodhpur to be considered for admission to super-specialty programmes like DM and M.Ch. In order to be admitted to the B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing and Ph.D. programmes, the institute administers a written test and conducts an in-person interview.

Eligibility-

  • For being eligible for MBBS candidates must have passed the 10+2 (Intermediate) programme from any reputable board with a minimum of 60% (55% for SC/ST categories) overall marks and PCM or PCMB as their stream.
  • The candidates must have earned a minimum of 55% overall (or 50% for restricted categories) on their MBBS or BDS degree from a university recognised by the Medical Council of India for other courses.
  • Additionally, a one-year internship must have been finished.
  • Candidates for the M.Sc. degree must have earned a B.S. in the relevant field from an accredited university.
  • Admission is awarded based on NEET PG exam results.
  • Candidates for the M.Sc. and MPH programmes are required to take a written entrance exam administered by AIIMS, which is followed by an interview.
