About the college-

The prestigious Army College of Nursing in Jalandhar Cantt was founded specifically for the daughters of active-duty and retired military personnel. ACN is a part of the complex Army Welfare Education Society, which proudly serves the Army by managing 137 Army Public Schools and 12 Professional Colleges nationwide. The Army Welfare Education Society has its headquarters in New Delhi and regional offices in Chandigarh, Udhampur, Kolkata, Pune, Jaipur, and Lucknow. ACN is accredited by the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences in Faridkot and recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi, and the Punjab Nurses Registered Council, Mohali (Punjab). ACN is regarded as one of the top three nursing schools in the university and has an impressive track record of placements in "Best in class" hospitals in the NCR and North India, 100% excellent results, and other distinctions.

ACN Admission 2024

The college provides admission to the course of Bachelor of Science for nursing which is for a time period of four years and is an on campus course for a full time period.

Eligibility-

The criteria for getting admission into the undergraduate program is that the candidate must have earned a minimum of 45% overall in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics in their Class XII or any equivalent examination from an accredited board.

Process-

On payment of INR 450 via Demand Draft, applicants can acquire the prospectus and application form from the Office of ACN in order to be considered for admission to the Army College of Nursing, Jalandhar. 

  • Via mailing the request and a crossed demand draught for INR 500, you can also order the prospectus by registered mail. 

  • The prospectus can also be downloaded from www.acn.co.in, the college's official website. 

  • Demand drafts should be made out to "Army College of Nursing" with a cantonment of Jalandhar as the address.

  • The "Principal, Army College of Nursing, Deep Nagar, Jalandhar Cantt-144005" must receive application forms that are fully completed in all respects by the deadlines of March 20 without a late fee and March 31 with a late fee of Rs 100/-. 

  • The candidate should submit all information requested on the form, fill all the columns, and sign them all. 

  • Applications that are not complete will be rejected.
