ABOUT THE COLLEGE

Asra College of Education is categorized to be one of the best colleges of Education in the state of Punjab. The foundation stone of the college was laid in the year 2009 with an aim to train successful budding teachers in their respective fields. The college has been instrumental in bringing new technologies and innovative methods to improve teaching. The faculty is very supportive having a sense of responsibility towards the college and its students. The facilities include of a library, computer lab, science lab, big and spacious classrooms, seminar room, sports facility, hostel facility, and transport facility. The college also assists the students with the facility of an e-library giving access to the study material online. This institute offers the courses such as B.Ed, Elementary Teacher Training [ETT], and M.ED. The institute gives admission to both boys and girls students. The college is approved by NCTE and affiliated with Punjab University.

ACE Admission 2024

To secure a seat in the college, the candidates have to fill out an application form which is released online on the college website usually in the months of June or July. The admission process is as per the NCTE rules and regulations.

ELIGIBILITY

The eligibility criteria are 10+2+3 from any recognized institution in India. The students must have done graduation with at least 50% marks. Some relaxation is given to SC, ST, and OBC students according to the college norms. For getting admission to an M.Ed course, a student must have done B.Ed.

UG ADMISSION

The B.Ed course provided by the college is for a duration of 1 year which is full-time, and on campus. The total fee is approximately Rs 40,000. The ETT course is of the duration of 2 years which is also full-time and on campus.

PG ADMISSION

The M.Ed course provided by the college is also regular, full-time, and on campus with an intake capacity of 100 students per batch. The fee is as per the college norms and is reasonable.
