The Bhilai Institute of Technology, Raipur (BIT,R) was established in 2009 as the BIT Trust's second institution (Seth BalKrishan Memorial). The trust was formed in remembrance of Seth Balkrishan, a great philanthropist.

The AICTE has approved and accredited BIT Raipur, which is associated with CSVTU, Bhilai, and is strategically located in the heart of Atal Nagar (New Raipur), which is quickly becoming a technology and industry powerhouse.

ADMISSION

·        Admission to the B.E. programme is through the Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test (CG PET) or JEE Main examination.

·        Admission to the M.Tech programme is through GATE.

ELIGIBLITY

FOR M.Tech

Candidate must have B.E. / B.Tech degree from a recognised university in the relevant discipline.

FOR B.Tech

Candidates must qualify 10+2 with 50% aggregate grades in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

FOR B.Tech (Lateral)

Candidates must hold Engineering diploma in the relevant field.
