The Chandigarh College of Architecture (CCA) is a college setting forth the education and knowledge and research in the stream of architecture and related disciplines. It was founded on 7th August 1961 by Le Corbusier, who laid out Chandigarh's master plan in 1951. The college provides the learners with a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) for a duration of five years. It is affiliated and acknowledged to the Panjab University in the Faculty of Design and Fine arts.

Since 1985 the college follows a unique 10 semester course which is divided in two tiers:

1.       Tier one :- First semester to sixth semester, that is, three years: it comprises tutorials, workshops, theoretical subjects and studio work for establishing a basic understanding of architecture and skills.
2.       Tier two :- Seventh semester to 10 semester, that is, two years: it consists of a special six months of practical training which is then followed up by elective courses and studies of urban design, town planning and a thesis and professional practice.

The college celebrates 'Corbu Day' as an annual founders day on 6th October, the birthday of Le Corbusier. On this day speeches are given by professional architects and scholarships and awards are distributed to the merit holders.
