The Co-operative Academy of Professional Education founded the University of Technology Perumon in Kollam Kerala in the year 2000. (CAPE). It is the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) Branch Center and has got the MVR Fund's Best Performance Award in Kannur.
