CTIAP Admission 2024 | CT Institute of Architecture Planning UG & PG Course Last Date

CT Institute of Architecture & Planning, Jalandhar was established in 2014 as a constituent organisation of CT Group of Institutions, under the umbrella of CT Educational Society, with the purpose of establishing a "Center of Excellence" in Architectural Education and Research in Punjab and Northern India. The institute, which is associated with Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, has been recognised by the Council of Architecture in New Delhi.
The Department of Architecture is the Institute's principal department. These departments have sufficient infrastructure to complete the Bachelor's degree programme.

Course

BACHELOR IN ARCHITECTURE (B-ARCH)

Eligibility Criteria: 
Only candidates with the following qualifications will be considered for admission to the B.Arch. Course: - i. Obtain a pass score on the approved aptitude test for Architecture (NATA or equivalent); ii. Completed any of the following curricula with the required marks:
(a) Attained at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM), as well as at least 50% aggregate marks in the 10+2 level examination; (b) Attained at least 50% aggregate marks in the 10+3 diploma examination with Mathematics as a required subject.

The National Architecture Aptitude Test (NATA)

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) assesses an applicant's aptitude for a certain subject of study, namely architecture. The exam assesses sketching and observation abilities, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity, and critical thinking ability, all of which have been learned through time and are relevant to a certain subject of study, such as architecture.


NATA'S ELIGIBILITY TO APPEAR

Anyone who has passed the SSC (Std X) or an equivalent examination can sit for NATA, however the admission level for the B.Arch Course must meet one of the following conditions.

50% in 10+2 or equivalent examination with mathematics as one of the subjects or

10+3 Diploma (any stream) approved by the Central/State Governments with 50% aggregate marks with mathematics as one of the subjects. or International Baccalaureate Diploma, after ten years of study, with at least 50 percent aggregate grades and Mathematics as a compulsory subject of assessment.

NATA IS REQUIRED
A minimum NATA score of 80 out of 200 is required for admission to the first year of an undergraduate study in architecture (Bachelor of Architecture) in India.
NATA scores are utilised by admissions authorities at various government, government-aided, and unaided architecture schools and colleges to give a consistent benchmark for assessing applicants' qualities for admission, in addition to their scholastic achievement in 10+2 or similar exams.
