Nankana Sahib Education Trust (NSET) created Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College in 1956, making it one of Northeastern India's most famous, earliest, and minority institutions. NSET was established in honor of Nankana Sahib, Guru Nanak Dev Ji's hometown and most revered temple. In 1953, the Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee, Amritsar, created a Poly and Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNDEC) with the objective of "Expulsion of Financial Underdevelopment via Technology." In 1956, the NSET founded a Polytechnic with about the same goal.

ADMISSION PROCESS:

Candidates must initially apply for the JEE Mains exam. Candidates can do so by going to the main JEE website.

For the offline exam, applicants must take a registration fee of INR 1000 (INR 500 for SC/ST). The registration cost for the online mode will be INR 500 (INR 250 for SC/ST).

Candidates can check the website and fill out an application for enrollment or register through the JEE counseling sessions after passing the entry exam.

Candidates will be chosen based on their JEE results. The university will compile a merit list for the individuals.

Eligible candidates must subsequently visit the college to provide the relevant paperwork and certificates, as well as the registration form.

All other college-required admission requirements will be done in the college itself.

The student is responsible for paying any fees imposed by college.

JEE is used to admit students to B. Tech programmes (Joint Entrance Examination). In order to apply for these programmes, candidates must take the admissions test.

A valid GATE score is required for admission to M. Tech programmes.

To enroll for an MBA, individuals must have a good CMAT grade.

Entrance to the MCA programme is solely on the basis of merit.

Applicants must enroll for Ph.D. programmes online through the Quality Improvement Program (QIP) website.
