Indian institute of Technology was established by an act of parliament on 6th August 2008. IIT Patna has successfully created a name itself in academic and research within a small span of time. The institution is located at Bihta, Patna. Indian Institute of Technology has been a centre of knowledge since ancient times. 

IIT Patna has a campus spread over 500 acres with beautiful prestigious surroundings . The institution has modern infrastructure and well equipped research facilities in the field of science. The central library has many engineering books and relevant reference books. Currently the library contains 14000 books.

Till now 180 job offers have been given to students by national and foreign organisations and the Highest CTC offered at INR 52.50 LPA whereas the Average CTC stood at INR 16.6 LPA. Boys hotels have two buildings in the campus and girls hostels are on the other side and mess charges are not included in the fees. There are additional .wifi facilities provided 24 hours for the students living in hostels.

• 10+2 with 75% + JEE advanced 
• Pass in graduation + gate ( according to the course) 
• Graduation should be completed ( if PG courses ) 

Fees 

It is slightly higher as compared to other colleges in Patna.
