IVRI Admission 2024 | Indian Veterinary Research Institute UG & PG Course Last Date

Indian veterinary Research institute was established on 9th December ,1889 as an imperial Bacteriology laboratory situated at Pune. IVRI "Deemed to be university "(Maharashtra) and was later on shifted to Mukteshwar (Kumano, Uttarakhand ) in 1893 Mukteshwar was chosen because of its suitability for research on infectious diseases. Izzatnagar Bareilly campus was established in 1913 for large scale production of sera vaccines, to extend the activities of the Institutes. It gradually expanded to the present size with its headquarters at Izzatnagar (UP) and campus at Bhopal (MP) and regional stations at Palampur (HP) ,Srinagar (J&k) and Kolkata (WB ). 

IVRI Admission 2024

  • The admission to BVSc AH UG degree programs in IVRI is done on the basis of NEET every year for students of PCB stream. 
  • The counseling for the admission is done by IVRI only and aspirants are informed accordingly about the dates and everything else. Eligibility A pass in higher secondary or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Biology / Botany and zoology , physics and chemistry ( 40% for OBC / MBC/ BCM / EBC / ST / SC ) The lower age limit is 17 years as on December 31 during the year of admission . The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years for (OBC / MBC /EBC / BT / SC ) 

Fees 

  • General and OBC candidates - RS 15000 ( Including hostel charges ) yearly 
  • SC and ST candidates - RS 3000 ( Including hostel charges) yearly Scholarship Merit scholarship is scholarship is offered to the students of BVSc AH UG degree program . 
  • 1st position in batch - rs 6000 per month 
  • 2nd position in batch - rs 5000 per month 
  • 3rd position in batch - rs 4000 per month 

Students studying in IVRI who is a non domicile holder of Uttar Pradesh will receive a scholarship Of rs 3000 per month. 

Facilities 

Medical facilities are available for the students in case of any emergency . Even medical insurance schemes are available for the students. Advanced computer labs with the latest technology are made available. Huge Central library is always open for students.
