Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition (IHM), North Goa was later upgraded as a ‘Food Craft Institute’ and was later upgraded as a full fledged Institute under the auspices of Government of India, Ministry of Tourism and is under the umbrella of National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology, New Delhi. It was established in 1968 under the name ‘ Food Craft Institute’. In 1984 it was upgraded to the level of diploma and from 2002 onwards it was upgraded to degree level. The Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition is financially and administratively under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, New Delhi.
