IHM Admission 2022-23 | Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology Applied Nutrition UG & PG Course Last Date

Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology Applied Nutrition, is located in Kolkata. It is also known as IHM Kolkata. IHM is a hospitality management college which was established in 1963. The college was first situated on 21, Convent Road, with a number of 16  students. Later the college was  shifted to P-16, Taratala Road, Kolkata in 1980. The college was founded by Mr. P. A. Koshy. The college is affiliated to the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology.

IHM is an autonomous college. They provide all the necessary things for the students. They have all the modern facilities. They have six fully equipped art kitchens and two laboratories for bakery and confectionery, two well-equipped restaurants, a library with more than 10,000 books, a laboratory for  Housekeeping practical with all heavy-duty machinery and three guest rooms for practicals. Also the computer laboratory which is well furnished for individual practice sessions.

IHM Admission 2022-23

The college has both UG and PG courses.

The courses provided by college are the following:

  • Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Hospitality and Hotel Administration which is a three year course.

  • Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Hospitality Administration which is a 2 year course.

  •  Post Graduate Diploma In Accommodation Operation And Management which is a 1 year course.

  • Craftsmanship Course In Food Production And Patisserie which is a course of 24 weeks.

  • Craftsmanship Course in Food and Beverage service which is also a course of 24 weeks.

  • Diploma in food production, F&B services, Housekeeping, Front Office. Which is a 1.5 year course

Admission procedures for UG courses are based on board marks and entrance exams conducted by the National Council For Hotel Management And Catering Technology.
