International Institute of Information Technology Naya Raipur is also called Dr. SPM IIIT-Naya Raipur was established in 2013 by IIIT University Act jointly undertaken by NTPC and Chhattisgarh state government. It was established as a University by the government of Chattisgarh and got recognition from UGC, even approved by AICTE. The institute aims to give excellent higher education not only in R&D but also in IT and its discipline. It is a public-run institute. Microsoft, PharmEasy, American Express, Ericsson, and many more are the leading recruiters for their students.

Admission Process

Candidates are admitted strictly only on the basis of merit they obtain in their respective exams. One has to fill out the application form from the official website and after the result had to go for counseling.

 

Eligibility Criteria

 

The total seats are divided as subsequently: the candidates who have cleared their tenth and 12th from Chattisgarh have got 50% of seats, those who are employed in the fields like NTPC have 15% seats and at last 35% given for all children.

 

For B.Tech.

Those who have cleared JEE Mains and are in the merit of it. So, applicants are also being told that they must have 50% marks in the PCM field in their intermediate. But the relaxation of 5% was given to SC/ST/OBC/PWD. They follow JoSAA guidelines very much. One has to visit the official site to enroll in the course which is then followed by an entrance exam.

 

For M.Tech.

Candidates are admitted only according to the GATE scorecard. Those who are selected will be getting a scholarship too.

 

For Ph.D.

Candidates must have a post-graduation degree and have a good record of their academics. Candidates must have the scorecard of any of the following: GATE/ CSIR/ UGC/ DST/ INSPIRE/ DBT/ NBHM. Admission is only according to the entrance exam conducted at the institute level.
