Jayawantrao Sawant College of Engineering under the leadership of Dr. T.J. Sawant. was established in the year 2001 is now an agglomeration of seventy Institutes and affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. They have a vision of making higher education affordable and accessible to all the students who are very desirous to pursue them. They are being approved by AICTE and DTE, recognized by the Government of Maharashtra, and accredited by none other than NAAC. Companies like Accenture, Jaro Education, ECS, TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Persistent, etc. have recruited their students.

Admission Process

They offer admission in two phases firstly in online mode and the second phase is of Counseling round. The Entrance exam is to be cleared by all the candidates who want to enter the college. So, initially, they have to fill out the application form present on the college's official website. Whatever is asked one must fill it truly and completely.

 

Eligibility Criteria

 

For B.E. 

Candidates have to clear 10+2 with a recognized school with a stream as PCM. The selection of students is only according to the marks they scored and in JEE Mains and MAH-CET.

 

For Lateral Entry in B.Tech.

At least students should clear their diploma education from a recognized board. The candidate selection is only on the basis of the merit list generated.

 

For M.E.

One must complete their B.E. degree in the respective branch or field. It is being asked by the college that students should hold a valid scorecard of the GATE. 

 

For MBA

Candidates have to appear in MAH-CET Entrance to get admission to the college. Completing a bachelor's degree in any discipline is important.

 

For MCA

Either the applicants should complete the bachelor's degree in any field or have done their BCA with more than 50%. A merit-based selection is done.
