The KCL Law Institute is a division of the KCL Educational Charitable Trust, a non-profit organization that already operates many educational institutions. This law school is the dream project of the late S. Balbir Singh, founded in 2005. 

 The College is affiliated with Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, and its BALL.B (5-year Comprehensive Law Program) and Bachelor of Law (3-year Postgraduate Law)

 KCL Law Research Institute was established in 2005 as a dream project of the late Elder Balvir Singh. The KCL Law Institute is a division of the KCL Educational Charitable Trust, a non-profit organization that already operates many educational institutions. The university is affiliated with Guru Nanak Dev University in Amritsar and is accredited by the Indian Bar Association.

ADMISSION PROCESS

Applicants wishing to enroll in the UG Law course must pass Exam 12 with a score of 45% (40% for SC/ST candidates). Applicants must have a Bachelor of Laws degree to enroll in PG Law courses. B or equivalent degree from a recognized university/college with a minimum score of 55% (50% for reserved categories).

COURSES OFFERED

The Bachelor of Laws is a professional bachelor's degree that focuses on the legal profession. Undergraduate courses can be taken within 3 years of graduation or 5 years after 10+2. Law school graduates have many opportunities and are not limited to practicing law in courts or businesses. Teaching at universities, working with NGOs, and working as a newspaper and television reporter are just some of the other options you can choose from after successfully completing your LLB course.
