Lovely Professional University or (LPU) located on Phagwara, Punjab, India is a private college, with a campus spread over 600 acres. The college was established in 2005. It has over 20 schools which offer many courses such as UG, PG, diploma and doctoral courses in various streams. The college is affiliated to many universities such as, University of Grand Commission(UGC), The National Council for teacher(NCTE), and the Council Of Architecture(COA), the Pharmacy Council Of India (PCI),  the Association Of Indian Constitution(AIU). The School of Agriculture is accredited by the Indian Council Of Agricultural Research (ICAR). Internationally, the college is approved by the (ACBSP). Also, the college is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities(ACU). The School of Law was approved by the Bar Council Of India(BCI) until 2018–2019.The distance education programmes are approved by the Distance Education Bureau (DEB).

The college has more than 50 courses. The campus provides everything to the students. The faculty of the college is well educated and the college has placement cells also. The program provided by the college includes B tech, M tech, LLB, MBA, B Arch, MSC, BSC Agriculture, P.HD. The admission procedure is through LPUNEST. LPUNEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for the admission procedure to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test is the basic entrance test for eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and also for some of the programmes the test is only applicable for scholarship.
