Management Development Institute [MDI], is located in Gurgaon, Haryana, India. The college was established in 1973. MDI is one of the first internationally accepted Indian Business schools which has been internationally approved by Association of MBAs (AMBA) London in 2006. They have many partner institutes in different countries. Some of them are EDHEC Business school, which is a French Business school, Copenhagen Business School, which is a public school situated in Copenhagen, HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management, which is an institute situated on Germany, Bocconi University, RSM Erasmus university, ESCP university. One of the important things about MDI is that they have the largest exchange opportunity. 5 students from all those who had enrolled in post graduate  get an opportunity to study abroad on the basis of their terms.

In 2019, the college was ranked “India’s Best B-schools” by Business Today. Also they have ranked 10th among all the management schools in India by NIRF in 2024. From 150 private MBA institutions in the magazine outlook’s India they were in third position. The college campus is spread over 3 acres, which is 12 km away from Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi. The college has provided all the essentials for the students within the campus. They have a well established library with many books. Also they have provided e-books, journals, databases etc.
