MIT Institute of Design (MITID) Pune, is a private institute which was  established in the year 2006. The institute is affiliated to  MIT University of Art, Design, and Technology. The MIT Art, Design and Technology University  which is also known as MIT-AD is located in Loni Kalbhor, Pune, Maharashtra, India. The institution was established in 2004. The institution is an autonomous private university . The college  is a part of the MIT Group of Institutions.

The institution is stretched over an acre of 125. The institution was recognized by  UGC multidisciplinary University. Also the institution was awarded with the 'Best Campus Award' by ASSOCHAM.  In June 2016 MIT-ADT under the provisions of the MIT Art, Design and Technology University Act, 2015  the institution  was incorporated as a distinct university. The institution provides all the facilities for the students. They have a well maintained and well established campus with all the modern facilities for the students. They have good faculty with well educated and good experience. They provide all the help for the student and they are always available for the students. The institution also provides hostel facilities for the students. The hostel is well maintained with all the facilities provided for the students. The institution provided workshops which helped the students to increase their skills. They also provide various sports facilities such as carom, table tennis, chess etc. The institution also has wing houses, classrooms and studio space, multiple computer labs, a model shop with traditional tools as well as rapid prototyping technologies, and painting facilities.
