Muthayammal Engineering College (MCE), Namakkal, was founded in the year 2000 and is operated by the Muthayammal Educational Trust and Research Foundation.

Muthayammal Engineering College, a self-contained institution affiliated with Anna University with the goal of uplifting the rural population via technical education.

It is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation and recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (A.I.C.T.E) (NBA).

ADMISSION

Candidates for admission to the ME programme must have completed a BE or B. Tech programme in a related discipline with a minimum of 50% marks.

TNEA, which is run by Anna University, conducts a counselling procedure for admission to BE, B.Arch, and B.Tech programmes.

The minimal qualifying criterion for admission to the MCA and MBA programmes is that the applicant must have earned a Bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks.

Candidates must apply for TANCET and TNEA online in order to be considered for admission to PG and UG programmes.

ELIGIBILITY

BE/B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must have completed Higher Secondary School or 10+2 pattern or its equivalent, with a minimum eligibility percentage in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry combined.

 ME Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must have earned a B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree in a relevant engineering area from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks.

The candidates must have passed the Anna University-conducted Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2021.

Eligibility Criteria PhD

M.E./M.Tech./M.S. in the applicable Engineering or Technology discipline
