NID Admission 2024 | National Institute of Design UG & PG Course Last Date

National Institute of Design  which is also known as NID is located in Vijayawada. It is a design school, which was established on 7 September 2015. NID is an autonomous college. It is the second autonomous multi disciplinary institute, which is under the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industry. At present the college is temporarily situated on the highway of Guntur-Vijayawada. But it will move to a land of 50 acres of Amaravati, which is the new capital city of Andhra Pradesh.

NID has a good infrastructure with all the facilities provided by the college. The college is affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur. College does not provide any scholarships for their students. But college has a placement cell which provides the students placement opportunities in different companies. A compulsory internship is an important part of the programme and the stipend for the internship differs according to the company. The faculty provided by the college is well educated.  They train students in such a way that, they remember the subject all the time. Also the faculty supports the students by giving their experiences, which gives them inspiration. Hostel facilities are provided by the college for their students, with all the necessary needs.

NID Admission 2024

The course offered by the college is Bachelor of designing (B.Des) in Industrial Design, Communication Design, Textile and Apparel Design. Admission procedure is through the entrance exam NID DAT entrance. Students interested can apply through the application form provided online.
