National Institute of Fashion Technology  [NIFT], was established in 2010 for a short time in Jatni and offered temporary classes and later shifted to Bhubaneswar, Odisha to its permanent campus with active support and aid of the Government of Odisha. NIFT is fully equipped with the facilities required for educational and practical purposes, some of them are mentioned below:

•         Hostel facility for female students.
•         7 IT labs
•         Weaving studios with top quality lightweight wood table top rooms
•         Advanced weaving studios with electronic controlled jacquard and dobby
•         Hardware and wet workshops
•         Fashion and Photography studios

NIFT Bhubaneswar offers the students with full time undergraduate and postgraduate courses and programs in the Design and it's related disciplines. It also offers a 20% reservation for the domestic students of Odisha. The courses offered are mentioned below:

•         Bachelor of Design (BDes) :- Duration: 4 years, Eligibility: 10+2 and NIFT Entrance Exam Score.
•         Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFTech) :- Duration: 4 years, Eligibility: 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects and NIFT Entrance Exam Score.
•         Master of Fashion Management (MFM):-  Duration: 2 years, Eligibility: Bachelors from a recognised university or board.
