ABOUT  –

NIFT Patna is one of the top colleges in India imparting quality education in the field of Fashion Technology.

NIFT Patna was located in Udyog Bhavan, Gandhi Maidan and shifted to its own permanent campus at Mithapur Farms in 2014.

The Institute has been ranked 4 for Fashion Design by India Today 2024 and 6 for Fashion Design by The Week 2024 rankings. It offers BDes, MFM and Continuing Education Programme (CEP) in various specialisations.

Students can customise the course of their choice by selecting the options provided by NIFT. These options include Majors, Deepening Specialisations and Career Pathways. The Institute has 16 campuses spread across the country.

PLACEMENT  –

• The placement at NIFT Patna are organised in the same way as it is conducted across all other NIFT campuses.

• The visiting organisations are allowed to recruit students through two ways which are

Organisations can provide a job offer to the students before the on-campus placements. • Mostly, these job offers are made on the basis of internships/ training/ projects undertaken by the students in the respective organisations.

• If the student accepts the offer, it will be considered as a job placement.

• Such students are not allowed to participate in the on-campus placements in order to provide a fair opportunity to all the students.

• Companies can register for campus placements.

•  Upon being given a confirmed time and date, they may come to the campus for the placement .

NIFT Patna provides in campus hostel accommodation only for girls.
