Vellore is highly recognised across the globe as the birthplace of the independence struggle in the shape of the "Sepoy Mutiny" in 1808 and is also known for mending and medical education via the famed Christian Medical College. However the Methodist presence in the region dates back over fifty years, the church's educational effort was began as recently as 1992 by Pr. Dudley Ponniah was primarily as belated as a labour of faith, with just 12 pupils as the religious vestry and little monitory assistance.

SDA Admission 2024

A pass in any UGC-approved Graduate degree Degree Program (10+2+3) and a PG credential for Bachelor of arts Economics & B.Com with the sanctified marks. 50% for OC, 45 percent for BC, and 43 percent for MBC SC and ST receive 40%. There is no upper age limit. Selection Procedure: Candidates will be admitted based on their merit. Merit will be established by performance in a qualifying examination and/or a choice test and/or interview performed by an NCTE-approved agency-the institution, university, or national/state level. It is preferable that the selection exam if held, comprise a test of school subject knowledge, general knowledge, general awareness, and communication aptitude and abilities. Seat reservations may be made in line with a provision in the constitution/legislation.

Eligible applicants are rated based on their qualifying examination results (cumulative grades + marks in optional topics + ranking for postgrad) and their performance in a Professional Aptitude Test performed by the college. A rank list based on the aforementioned criteria is released, and those who are short-listed are invited for interviews. Selected candidates must provide the originals of all needed documents. Admission is granted only once the originals of the following papers have been verified.

Procedure for Admission

Male and female aspirants with the following Bachelor's degree marks are qualified to apply to all programs except Commerce, which requires a PG qualification. (10 + 2 +3)

Documents that must be created: 
1. SSLC / MATRIC or any other acceptable document proving date of birth, parents' names, etc. 
2. High School Diploma 
3. A Transfer Certificate (TC) from the most recent institution attended. 
4. Original Degree Certificate — Graduation and post-graduation. 
5. Degree exams and postgraduate examination mark list 
6. Certificate of Community Service 
7. Two passport-sized photos

Facilities.

Science Laboratory: The institution should have numerous sets of Science apparatus necessary to complete and display all of the experiments recommended in the Senior and Advanced Secondary classes, as well as chemicals, etc., in sufficient quantities. The goal is to prepare the student-teacher to efficiently conduct science practical lessons in school.

Psychological testing facility
Apparatus for easy educational psychology experiments-intelligence tests (achievement, nonverbal, verbal), aptitude tests, creative examinations, personality scales, attitude tests, and interest inventories, among others.
