Sri Muthukumaran Medical College Hospital and Research Institute is located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and was established in 2009. It has been recognised by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi, for admission of 150 students in the first year of MBBS beginning in the academic year 2010-2011. The college is accredited by Medical Council of India.

SMMCHRI Admission 2024
Admission:
The NEET UG and NEET PG entrance examination is used to determine admission to this course.
For admission, candidates can apply either online or offline.
Eligibility:
Candidates must pass the HSC test administered by the Tamil Nadu State Board or an equivalent examination in one try with minimum admissible marks to be considered for MBBS.
Candidates must have passed English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Physics, Chemistry, Botany, or Zoology as obligatory subjects in 10+2 or HSC.
Candidates having Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, and Botany in their HSC or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with another subject can apply.
