St Bedes College was established and founded in the year 1904 as a public Institute for women, situated in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India. It is known to be one of the oldest colleges for women in India and also the only college in the whole of Himachal Pradesh to receive an 'A' Grade accreditation by the NAAC, which initially began as an institute for training teachers. This institution is affiliated to the Himachal Pradesh University and recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
