St. Xavier’s College is an autonomous higher education college in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. It was established in 1860 in the name of St. Francis Xavier, saint of the 16th century who travelled to India. The college became the first autonomous institute in West Bengal, India in 2006 and affiliated to the University of Calcutta. The college has approximately 8,635 students.

• Duration: 3 years
• Eligibility: Cleared 12th board with 60% marks
• Admission Criteria: Based on Merit

2. Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)

• Duration: 3 years
• Eligibility: Cleared 12th board with 60% marks

3. Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)

The placement cell was formed in 2005 and from that time, they are helping students to get their dream job. Every year top companies take part in placement drives. In 2019, top recruiters which take part are Deloitte, JP Morgan, Google, Zomato, Infosys, Wipro, ICICI Bank,  Adidas and many more. The highest package in 2019 is Rs. 20.5 lakhs per annum and average package is Rs. 3 lakhs per annum in 2019.
