SLS Admission 2024 | Symbiosis Law School UG & PG Course Last Date
Symbiosis Law School (SLS), is a law college, founded in 1977 directed and governed under the 'Symbiosis Society', under the leadership of Mr. S. B Mujumdar, Founder Director and President. The campus of SLS is located in Pune and Noida. Symbiosis Law School is a fundamental college of the Symbiosis International University.
The law school is divided into six centres of specialization in:
- Justice education
- Technology and innovation laws
- Private laws
- Public law and governance
- Transitional and global and legal studies
- Corporate laws
Under these six centres of specialization various research activities and projects are held out namely, Microsoft IPR chair, Law reform projects on common property with National Law School Institute University (NLSIU), community legal care, legal aid activities and compensation for rape victims, research on Feminist prejudice and legal regulation of Biotechnology and Educational Laws.
Admission in SLS for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes is taken by a common entrance test SLAT: Symbiosis Law Admission Test for the admission process of the undergraduates of Symbiosis International University (SIU) which is subsequently followed by a Written Ability Test and Personal Interview.
According to National Institution Ranking Framework (NIRF), Symbiosis Law School has been allotted 8th rank in India in 2024, 8th in india by the Week's ' Top Law Colleges 2019' , 10th in India ' Top 25 Law Colleges 2019' by Outlook India, 3rd by India Today's ' India's Best Law Colleges 2024'.
