TOCS Admission 2024 | The Oxford College of Science UG & PG Course Last Date

It was the year 1994 when the Oxford college of science was raised on the ground of Bengaluru City of Karnataka. It is a private institute which started under the Oxford educational institute as a science college which is affiliated to Bangalore University. It has been approved by All India Council for Technical Education ( AICTE), New Delhi and has been graded 'A' by National Assessment and Accreditation Council of India (NAAC). The sterling teaching methodology has skyrocketed the college to new heights by attaining recognition from the International Accreditation Organization (IAO). The college is also recognised by the state government of Karnataka. The expertise of the college lies in educating students at undergraduate and postgraduate level in various disciplines mainly arts, science, commerce and computer application.

TOCS Admission 2024

Widening its academic spectrum, it admits students in following undergraduate programs-

  • Bsc: A three year program to be pursued by students belonging to science field in class 10+2
  • BCA: three year course in computer application
  • Com: three year course in commerce
  • BA: three year course in Arts
  • BBM

Following courses of duration two years are offered at postgraduate level-

  • MSc

  • MA

A candidate must have completed a Bachelor degree of their respective course for seeking admittance to the course.

The institute at the beginning started with a batch of 12 students guided by the expertise of 5 teachers whereas currently it has pushed its boundaries and now a total of 3000 students are currently enrolled in various courses receiving brilliant education under the equally experienced team of faculties who are highly qualified and dedicated.

Sprawling in nearly 6.5 acres of land, the college is also a niche to several other facilities. Well stocked library to moderately equipped laboratories, spacious auditorium with well seating capacity, transport and hostel are also provided at the Oxford college. The college has been ranked first among other private engineering colleges in Karnataka for three consecutive years i.e. 2007,2008,2009 by India Today Magazine. It stands at 25th position amongst science colleges in India. The Week gave 18th spot for private fashion design by The Week in 2024. For 15 consecutive years it has been ranked amongst the top 5 best private colleges in the state of Karnataka.

Contributing significantly towards employability Oracle, HP, CCD, Myntra, Airtel, Infosys, Himalaya, Deloitte,Kotak, and Quicker are amongst top recruiters.
