Vinayaka Missions had been established in the year of 1981in Salem, Tamil Nadu. After that they founded TKVTSS Medical Educational and Charitable Trust in 1982. So, in the year of 2001 Vinayaka Missions got the status of 'Deemed to be University' by the MHRD, Government of India. After getting so much recognition Vinayaka Missions excel to become Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation (whose aim is to bring social change using education as a tool). The University has been accredited by NAAC and has got the approval of UGC. The University spread over an area of 271 acres.

Eligibility Criteria

They are offering 134 course programmes. 

For Diploma in Medical Lab Technology, in Operation Theater and Anesthesia Technology, in Radiology and Imaging Technology

The diploma programme is only for 1 year. When going for counseling, applicants are selected on the basis of their intermediate scorecard. Then one must need to verify all the documents.

For B.Arch.

One must have appeared in NATA. The University also takes up the candidates if they have given JEE Paper 2. Candidates are also selected on the basis of the entrance score. 

For B.P.Ed. and BPES

Candidates have to appear for personal interviews and for sports trials. Then, make yourself registered for University level counseling. Then accordingly students are selected if they have qualified the exam. 

For B.Ed., B.Sc., B.Optom 

On the basis of intermediate and for B.Ed. undergraduate degree candidates are given admission to the University. 

For Ph.D.

Candidates if cleared the UGC-NET/ UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/SLET/GATE then they only have to qualify for the interview round. But if not given then candidates have to give an entrance exam and interview which is conducted at the national level by the university.
