To build the innovative idea, Mr. Dilip Moharana established a college of hotel management in 2007 as Xavier College of Hotel Management in Cuttack, Odisha. This management institute has got the permanent affiliation of Utkal University and also got the affiliation from the University of Culture to maintain the highest educational standards. It has got the recognition for Excellence in Hospitality Management Education. The college has got even the permission of the Government of Odisha in the Tourism and Culture Department. The mission of the college is to give quality education to their students in the fields of Tourism and Hospitality sector.

Eligibility Criteria 

The college holds Personal tests for the students.

For Bachelor degree in Hotel Management

The course is for 4 years. Candidates who have scored at least 45% in their intermediate are preferred. The college gives Industrial Training of 4 months to their students.

For Diploma in Hotel Management

The academic session is of 1.5 years. The students should at least clear their 10th or even have passed their intermediate. Here, also college gives 4 months training.

For Masters Degree in Hotel Management

Anyone with a minimum of 45% in the +3 exam has any of the streams. The course duration is 2 years.

For Post Graduate Diploma in Hotel Management

It is mandatory to achieve at least 45% in +3 exams with any stream. The academic period for the students is 1.5 years.

For Restaurant Manager

Candidates have to clear or pass +2 with any stream. The session will last for 1¹/² years.
