YBN University was established by the Government of Jharkhand and is considered as a Private university since then. It was established in 2017. They are working their best in providing quality education to their students.

The University has been divided into 17 departments including school of medical sciences, school of legal studies, school of journalism and mass communication, school of fashion designing, school of commerce and management, school of philosophy and research and many more.

Campus facilities include various facilities such as hostels, bank, playground, seminar halls, auditorium, computer labs, research centres and many more.

To get admission here, one has to fill in the online registration form available on the website. The campuses are spread over more than 100 acres of land comprising world class infrastructure and top class facilities.

To ensure overall development of the students, the University has various committees such as library committee, alumni committee, extension and collaboration committee, grievance redressal committee, anti ragging committee, cultural committee, women cell, sports committee, examination committee and NAAC committee.

To encourage research activities, they are having departmental research centers along with the research council.

Placement record has been excellent. The companies who recruited majorly are Deloitte and ITC. The academic record has also been very good as over the years, the college has produced many toppers.
