Yuvakshetra Institute of management studies is located in Kerala and is one of the popular training institutions. The college is affiliated to the University of Calicut. The term Yuvakshetra means the place of gathering of the young people.

They have been divided into several departments namely hotel management, geography, psychology, commerce, management, mathematics, english, physics, language studies, computer science chemistry and physical education.
They have given a name to each of their infrastructure. Their beautiful and spacious library is known as Bodhi, canteen is known by cafe yu court, health club and gymnasium, chapel and prayer hall, computer lab, open air stadium and transportation are some of the facilities that are being provided.
They have taken several initiatives to green campus which includes green fan nature club, ente maram project, rain harvesting, organic farming, scientific treatment plant, energy conservation program, waste management, beautification of campus corridor, bamboo garden. Also they follow green protocol in the campus and strictly adhere to it.
Placements have been good. Students are doing great in their respective fields.
