Government Medical College, popularly known as GMC, has been established in the year 2016. It is a public medical college established by the Chattisgarh government. The Institute is located at Kanyaparisar Road, Gangapur, Ambikapur, Chattisgarh - 497 001. This college is affiliated under Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial of Health Sciences and Ayush University of Chattisgarh at Raipur. It is approved by MCI. The official website of this institution is www.gmcambikapur.co.in . GMC College is a Co-ed institution which is open equally for both men and women, and for all sections of the society. The college faculty is of modern infrastructure and filled with well-experienced professors and staff. Hostel facility is available for both boys and girls separately, along with other medical and domestical facilities. The college also has an averagely good placement record. Facilities like well-equipped classrooms, laboratories, library, etc. are also available. The total number of faculties is 100.
