About the college

Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development [IBSD] is located in the hill station city of Imphal ,which is situated in the state of Manipur. The university was established in 2001. The university is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The university is affiliated with All India Council Of Teachers Education (AICTE) and with University Grants Commission (UGC). The college aims at providing higher quality education to children in the area with a goal of making them better students so that they can be compatible enough with the surrounding world and society. 

IBSD Admission 2024

Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development [IBSD], Imphal offers admissions in only one program, that is Doctorate of philosophy, the interested students can fill up the application form which is available on the official website of the college and appear for the entrance test organised by the college in order to filter candidates for the offered course. 

Eligibility

To take admissions in courses offered by the Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development [IBSD] , a student is supposed to fulfil the eligibility criteria opted by the college. The student must have completed their graduation from a recognized college and must have scored a passing percentage of 45 % or equivalent. This also includes their 10 + 2 level Education from a recognized board. There is some reservation and relaxation to children belonging to ST / SC / OBC category as per rules and guidelines of Government of India ( GOI ). 

UG Admissions

There are no undergraduate courses being offered by the college in its curriculum, presetly. 

PG Admissions 

Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development [IBSD], Imphal offers only one course in post graduation that is Doctorate of Philosophy ( PhD). The course offered is in specialisation of Biological Sciences. It is a 3 year long program and full time on campus degree.
