It was established in 2004 and is associated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur. It has been approved by the AICTE and NBA. Eligibility criteria

For B.Tech course

• Candidates must have to pass their 10+2 exam for Indigo organized board or any equivalent exam as well with an aggregate of 45% marks and must have physics, chemistry and mathematics as their main subjects. 
• And for B.Tech lateral candidates must have to pass that diploma in Engineering from any recognised Institute who gave the verified degree of diploma. 

For M.Tech

• Candidates must have to pass their bachelor's degree from any recognised University in the various streams of B.E or B.Tech. 

For MBA and MCA 

• Candidates must have to pass their graduation from any recognised University within aggregate of 50% marks in their relevant field of interest. 
• Mathematics is a compulsory subject for MCA candidates. 

Selection criteria

For B.Tech

• Selection will be done on the basis of marks secured in the APEAMCET examination. 
• Whereas for BTech literal selection will be done on the basis of APECET. 
• 70% of the seats were reserved for admission through the entrance exam whereas 30% of the seats were reserved for NRI candidates. 

For M.Tech 

• Selection will be done on the basis of marks secured in the national level entrance (GATE) examination or AP PGECET examination. 
• 30% of the seats reserved for the management quota and 70% of the seats were reserved for the admission which is done on the basis of merit in GATE or AP PGECET examination. 

For MBA and MCA 

• Selection will be done on the basis of marks secured in state level entrance examination AP ICET examination. 

Admission procedure

• Interested candidates may visit the official website of this institute for admission form. 
• Candidates may fill the application form both online as well as in offline mode. 
• In online mode candidates at first have to register themselves and then they are able to generate their password and the username and after that they are able to upload their scanned copy photograph signature and the required document for the admission. 
• Whereas in offline mode candidates need to download the PDF of application form and need to visit the college for the submission of the required documents.
