Dr. B R Ambedkar Institute of Technology Admission 2024 | UG & PG Course Last Date

Initially, the Dr. B R Ambedkar Government Polytechnic was started in the year of 1984 after that in the same campus second government polytechnic foundation was laid in 1989 and on the day of 16 april, 2010 it was renamed as Dr. B R Ambedkar Institute of Technology. So, as the name suggests, it is offering diplomas and degrees both in various engineering branches. It got the ISO 9000 Accreditation in the year 1999 and so was the first technical institute in Andaman and Nicobar Island. Moreover, it is a private institute. Officially authorized with B+ grade by  NAAC.

Eligibility Criteria

One must have completed the intermediate and should have got more than 50%. It is necessary that applicants have minimum eligible marks in physics, chemistry and math.

 

Diploma in Engineering

One must have completed 10th with 35% in math and science or even 12th pass can apply if they have 45% in PCM. Its duration is 3 years.

Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology

Applicants must have passed 10th and 12th with a minimum 35%. Its of 3 years duration

If a candidate wants to get a degree or diploma in the field of Hotel and Hospitality Administration, etc then he/she must have 40% marks in 10th and 12th both. Also, at least 40% marks in english. The time duration is 1.5 years.

 

Diploma in Trade Diploma in front office operations and Trade Diploma in food production 

Candidates having at least 35% in 10th. Time period for which candidates finish their diploma is 1.5 year.

 

Maritime Courses

Applicants have got 60% marks in their intermediate in PCM or they must be graduated in engineering having 50% marks in English.
