About the college-

Etcherla, in the Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh, India, is home to the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University. The Andhra Pradesh government founded it in 2008. The university bears B. R. Ambedkar's name, who is credited with creating India's Constitution. The Andhra Pradesh State Government founded Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University (BRAU) in Srikakulam in 2008. Through 18 departments, the university currently provides a wide range of UG and PG courses in the fields of arts, science, commerce, law, and business, among others.

BRAU Admission 2024 

The admission process for the college is as follows:

  • Visit the website.
  • Select the eligible course.
  • Candidates should use the university website to download their hall passes and show up for the test.
  • A candidate must choose one of the following payment methods to pay the registration and application processing fee of Rs. 500 and any late fees that may apply: (a) Challan from Andhra Bank and State Bank of India (b)Net Banking, debit card, and credit card.
  • After providing the necessary information in the online application form, carefully check all the information, then click the Submit button.
  • A produced application form with filled-in information and an application number will be generated. Print the completed online application form. Use the application number in all subsequent communications until the admissions process is finished.

Eligibility-

The eligibility criteria for various programmes are as follows:

  • The candidate must have earned a rank in LAWCET, a state-level undergraduate legal entrance test that is offered online by the university, in order to be admitted to the LL.B. and the integrated B.A.LL.B. course.
  • Most postgraduate degrees require admission through the Andhra University Common Entrance Test (AUCET) test. When preparing the merit lists for various programmes, the university takes into account the students' scores on their previous qualifying test and in the AUCET exam. Admission shall be solely determined by the students' performance in the prior qualifying test for all other postgraduate programmes.

Process-

The process for admission into various courses is done online.In the fields of arts, commerce, science, law, and education, it provides a number of UG courses. Additionally, a bachelor's degree in business administration is available. Except for the LL.B., all of these UG courses last three years (5 years).

The M.A. degree offers five distinct specialisation areas, while the M.Sc. degree offers seven distinct specialisations. The length of each postgraduate programme is two years
