Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, and Power Engineering are among the eight specialities available for the B.Tech program  through the institute.

GMR Institute offers a two-year full-time M.Tech (Master of Technology) programme. M.Tech programmes are available in seven fields at the college.

ADMISSION

10+2 with PCM as a compulsory subject is the primary eligibility criteria for admission to the B.Tech programme.

The applicant's score in the AP EAMCET is used to determine admission to the B.Tech programme.

Applicants with a valid GATE score are not required to take the AP PGECET.

Scholarships are awarded by GMR Institute of Technology to deserving individuals based on their EAMCET scores and reserved category status.

ELIGIBILITY

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have completed 10+2 in the Science stream with a minimum of 50% in PCM to be considered.

M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a B.E./ B. Tech in the relevant or allied field with a minimum of 50% marks to be considered for this programme.

In addition, applicants must have a valid GATE/AP-PGECET score.

The Training, Placement, and Development Cell at GMRIT is responsible for connecting graduating students with industrial opportunities. It educates students for the recruitment process while also raising awareness of GMRIT's hiring opportunities among businesses.
