Seshadri Rao Gudlavalleru Engineering College  is situated in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh which was established in the year 1998 by conjoint efforts of Shri Vallurupalli Venkata Rama Seshadri Rao under AANM and VVRSR education society.  Though the university has attained the autonomous status implying that the college independently structure its own programs and adapt to efficient teaching methodology integrating latest technologies and tools, it was affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University (JNJU) Jurisdiction. The college has been approved by All India Council for Technical Education ( AICTE) which enhances its engineering program, apart from other courses of science , humanities that the college propagates. The college has 3 departments which administers and governs the respective departments which are engineering, science and humanities and professional department.

Its student  intake capacity has grown significantly with just 180 students at the year of institution to 1200 students presently. The college spreads in an area equals to 5,50,000 sqft comprising state of art infrastructure within which resides unparalleled facilities. The college admits  students through AP EAMCET and JEE Mains. The phenomenal students have made college proved by winning many state and national competitions. The college stood as National winner in smart india hackathon conducted by AICTE, Ministry of Education in 2024. It was also bestowed with Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan National Award for an engineering college having best overall performance.
