In 1984, the Gurajada College of Education in Srikakulam was founded. The institution continues to be run by the Gurajada Educational Society, with the noble goal of training the country's future teachers. From 1994–1985, the Institution was allowed to offer a one-year B.Ed. program with 160 places available. The Co-Ordinator, Academic Affairs, Andhra University has granted the institution permanent affiliation with the university in Visakhapatnam. Furthermore, the University Grants Commission has acknowledged the college. In 1984, the Gurajada Educational Society was founded. Since then, there has been incredible progress and accomplishment. Gurajada College of Education, Srikakulam only offers the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree and the Diploma in Education because there are only 100 open seats and two UG programs available (D.Ed). PG Admission
