N.T.R College of Veterinary Science is a government Institute located in Gangavaram, Andhrapradesh. It was established in the year 1997 and is affiliated with Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, Tirupati. Nambeen name of this Institute is to import quality education to the students for the upliftment of the socio economic and the use of new technology to meet the needs of the production problem. Institute offers admission in the undergraduate courses as well as in the postgraduate courses of veterinary science. At the undergraduate level IT offers admission in Bachelors of veterinary science and animal husbandry whereas at the postgraduate level IT offers admission in Masters of veterinary science. Eligibility criteria

The minimum eligibility criteria for the candidates who were interested in taking admission in the undergraduate courses is Candidates should have to pass their 10 + 2 examination from any recognised board or any equivalent exam as well with an aggregate of minimum 50% marks and there is a 5% relaxation for the reserved category candidate. Furthermore, the minimum age of the candidate is 17 years whereas the maximum age of the candidate is 25 years old and 80% of the seats were reserved for the state quota. For the postgraduate level, candidates should have to pass their Bachelors Degree in veterinary science from any recognized University which has been approved by the ICAR with an aggregate of minimum 60% marks. The upper age limit of the candidate is 40 years old.
