About the college
S S Dempo college of commerce and economics was established in 1966 the institute was established and managed by Goa Education Society it has been accredited by NAAC with A grade. Their main aim is to build commerce graduates who are capable in old terms, whether professionally or making them good citizens. In keeping up with the mission of India in terms of skill development the college has set up its own demo Centre which offers short term courses to the students to enhance their entrepreneur and employability skills by making use of innovation and New Year Technology. The college has set up innovation Council Unnat Bharat Abhiyan sell, 1 Bharat shreshtha Bharat sale so as to run activities in line with the national missions for the community development in Goa. The college infrastructure includes large spacious classrooms, Research Centre Wi-Fi connectivity computer labs rooms Laboratories and smart classrooms.

The college offers courses in three categories first one is undergraduate programs in Bachelors of Commerce and Bachelors of Business Administration secondly post graduation programs in master of Commerce, integrated master of Commerce masters of tourism and travel management and PGDM event management they also sum of the certificate courses which includes i a t a certificate courses in event management and demo Centre for skill development courses.
Eligibility
For admissions to undergraduate courses student must have qualified class 12th with a minimum required percentage from any recognized board and for admissions to postgraduate courses one must have a bachelor's degree with minimum percentage marks from any recognised University by University Grants Commission apart from that any regular student of the college can pursue certificate courses that are being provided under different categories.
UG and PG admissions
Students can visit the website and create their own accounts after that they have to login to the website and fill in the application form with the basic details after filling up the form a merit list is being released by the college on the website the students who are getting admissions as per the merit list have to submit some of the documents to the college within the time frame that is provided along with the merit list the document submission is followed by verification of documents as well as payment of prescribed peace through online mode.
