About the college
One of the most well-known colleges in Goa and a centre of academic excellence both inside and outside the State is Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics, the flagship institution of Vidya Vikas Mandal. It was founded in 1973. Some of Goa's brightest and greatest students have made the College their top choice since it first opened its doors.
The College continuously works to ensure that teachers are up to date on the most recent advancements in both their specific areas of expertise and pedagogy, in keeping with its vision and mission. All teachers were required to finish at least one Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) from the UGC Swayam platform in 2018–19, which was a step in the right direction. 19 teachers have already finished a course, while others are finishing it in various levels.
We draw talent from various fields, including intellectual, athletic, literary, musical, dance, and dramatic. The College acknowledges the variety of intelligences that children possess, and we provide them with venues to showcase their skills. Since all programmes and events are planned by students, they have the possibility to develop their leadership and organisational skills. Pupils are given numerous possibilities for self-improvement because the college sincerely believes in the overall development of students.

The applicant's performance on the qualifying examination and their eligibility determine whether they are admitted to the B.Com, BBA, BCA, and M.Com programmes. Both online and offline methods of application submission are available for all of these courses. Both the college's website and the college campus make the form available.
Eligibility
Candidates for admission to the B.Com, BBA and BCA programme must have completed their 10+2 coursework in the Commerce stream from Goa or any recognised Board.
Applicants for the M.Com degree programme must have earned a B.Com with at least a 40% grade point average.
UG Admission
The undergraduate courses include Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) with a duration of 3 years on-campus.
PG Admission
The postgraduate courses include Master of Commerce (M.Com) with a duration of 2 years on-campus. The specialisation includes Accounting and Finance, Business Management.
