About the college-
The Punjab Nurses Registration Council and the Indian Nursing Council are both affiliated with the Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences and Hospital, which has 507 (Five Hundred Seven) beds. Shri Chander Chinar Bada Akhara Udasin Society (Regd.) also established the Sidhra Institute of Nursing Education with the permission of the J&K Government. In addition to the infrastructure already present in non-clinical and para-clinical departments, a 589-bed hospital is available for the Nursing Institute's clinical and other training needs. Students and staff are also given access to a J&K Bank and Post Office on campus as well as housing options. The Hospital Campus is where the Nursing Institute is situated. The Nursing Institute is a four-story structure with an auditorium and central library.
