About 15 kilometres from Patiala, in the village of Chounth, near the spinning mill Rediant Textiles, is where you'll find the Adarsh College of Nursing. One of Punjab's most cutting-edge and well-equipped nursing schools is Adarsh College of Nursing. It is well known for being an excellent centre for nursing education. Adarsh College of Nursing was founded in 2004 and hasn't looked back since. The college is connected with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences Faridkot and is duly recognised by the Punjab Nursing Council in Chandigarh and the Indian Nursing Council in New Delhi. The college is working to get affiliated with international nursing forums.A three story building serves as the college. To improve the presentation of academic exercises, the classrooms have modern amenities like laptops and overhead projectors. Students studying for the M.Sc. (N), Basic B.Sc. (N), Post Basic B.Sc. (N), G.N.M., and A.N.M. degrees each have their own sections.

Admission is offered by the college for both undergraduate and graduate programmes. The Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, which is offered as part of the undergraduate programme and is a four-year on-campus study, is available. The Master of Science course is offered as part of the postgraduate programme and contains specialisations in child health nursing, medical/surgical nursing, and mental health nursing. This is a full-time, on-campus course that lasts for two years.

Eligibility-

• For getting admission into the Bachelor of Science in Nursing, the applicant must have completed the 10+2 programme with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as individual courses, as well as 40% overall in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
• For the Post Basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing a candidate must have passed the 10+2 exam, the Senior Secondary exam, the Intermediate exam, or another exam comparable that was approved by the university for this purpose.
• For the Master of Science in Nursing, the candidate must be a registered nurse and a registered midwife, or an equivalent, with any State Nursing Registration Council, shall qualify the candidate. A B.Sc. in nursing, a B.Sc. in nursing with honours, or a post-basic B.Sc. in nursing must be completed from a school accredited by the Indian Nursing Council with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 55%.

UG Admissions-

The selection process for getting admission into the college is that the candidate first needs to qualify the PPMET exam and needs to then fill the admission form. All the documents required need to be attached with the form and submitted. The fee has to be paid after getting admission.

PG Admissions-

The candidate must pass the PPMET exam before filling out the application form in order to be considered for admission to the college. The form must be submitted along with any necessary documentation. Once you've been admitted, the price is due.
