In Dhanbad, Jharkhand, Al Iqra Teachers Training College [AITTC] is one of the best autonomous colleges. Both at the undergraduate and graduate levels, the college offers a variety of programmes. At the undergraduate level, admission is available for the bachelor's in education (B.Ed) and the diploma in elementary education (D.El.Ed), while at the postgraduate level, admission is available for the master's in education (M.Ed). All courses are offered on campus and last for two years.
Eligibility criteria
Anyone who had passed their 10+2 exam from any recognised board will be eligible for the elementary teaching diploma, but candidates for the bachelor's degree in education must have passed their bachelor's degree or master's degree from any university with at least a 50% or 5 cgpa grade point in an average in order to be eligible for the master's in education programme. And B.Ed is compulsory for the Master's in Education programs.
