About the college-

In India and around the world, Ambika Nursing & Paramedical Institutions are well-known for their nursing and paramedical programmes. It operates under the auspices of the Ambika Institute of Education Society, which was founded in 1998 and is presided over by Mr. Soundarya Ramesh.

The Ambika College of Nursing, Mohali, was established by the trust known as the "Ambika Prasad Pandey Education & Research Foundation" to serve the needs of students choosing to pursue courses in the field of health education. This nursing school in Punjab was established with the intention of educating the local young in a field that will help the state's economy and society grow. The college seeks to develop responsible individuals and uphold a tranquil, healthy environment in the neighbourhood.

Ambika College of Nursing Admission 2024

The college provides admission to the undergraduate as well as postgraduate programmes and even for the Diploma courses. Under the undergraduate program the course provided is the Bachelor of Science in Nursing for a time period of four years. Under the postgraduate program, the Master of Science course for nursing is provided for a two year time period. Also the two Diploma courses provided are for the time as given by the college and all of these courses are for on campus courses for a full time. They are provided with the aim of training students or candidates in the field of hospitality and nursing.

Eligibility-

The criteria for all courses is that the candidate must have passed the PUC or PDC (10+2) test, or any other exam held by boards, councils, or institutions of intermediate education recognised by state or federal governments, with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional courses. Apart from this the criteria for different courses is as follows 

  • For the Bachelor of Science in Nursing, English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects must all have been passed separately, and the combined grades for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English (PCBE) in the qualifying exam must have been at least 45%.

  • For Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery a candidate should have passed in any faculty or stream and needed to have received at least a 40% on the qualifying exam.

  • For the Diploma in Operation Theatre Technician a candidate should meet the criteria laid out in the above points.

UG Admissions-

A candidate must first meet the requirements set forth by the college in order to be admitted to the undergraduate programme. One must finish all necessary processes and fill out the admission form that the college provides on its web site. After submission, the college processes the application, and the individual is then required to pay the admission fee after being chosen.

PG Admissions-

A applicant must submit an online admissions application for the postgraduate programme. To be considered for admission, a form must be completed and submitted, after which the next step will be taken.
