About the college
Baba Mehar Singh Memorial Group of Institutes is a group of institutes located in Gurdaspur, Punjab. It was established in 2009 and is affiliated to the Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, which was founded by the Legislature Act of Punjab, and is affiliated to the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). The group was founded on the belief of offering the best of academic and intellectual resources to all aspiring students interested in different fields of education. Eligibility
For undergraduate courses, the overall criteria to be followed is having a certification of passing the 12th educational level with at least 35% marks. For postgraduate courses, the eligibility criteria is a graduation degree studying something similar to the one the student is applying for.
Subsequently, for the applicants of the science stream, additional certificates required are of centralised examinations like JEE or AIEEE and of medical fitness, while for the commerce and arts stream, the candidate is expected to have studied the relevant group of subjects before.
Process
Admissions are conducted through a physical process. The students must acquire application forms from the college, within the group of institutions, they wish to apply for. After doing so, they must write the required personal and academic information in the application form. The student must attach copies of important documents with the application form, and submit the set to the college office. They will be informed once selected for the course.
