Baihata Chariali BEd College which is the biggest in the year 1994 in Nalbari of Assam. The Institute is affiliated with the Guwahati University, Guwahati and the University Grants Commission UGC. It also organises various awareness programs to show the importance of education in our life to the students. The institute works towards improving the quality of teaching every year and also promotes social educational development programs through organising various events. The Organisation for the Teachers training program, the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) , has stamped the college as an Institute which has all the facilities for the Teachers training program.

The college offers two undergraduate teacher training programs of general degree which is of the duration of 2 years and is conducted in the physical mode. These courses are Bachelor's of Education (B.Ed) and diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
